How much does regular garden maintenance cost?+
Every garden is different so we price per visit rather than by a fixed hourly rate. Cost depends on garden size, what's included (grass only vs full garden), and visit frequency, fortnightly rounds are cheaper per visit than one-offs because we're not resetting an overgrown space each time. Send a few photos or book a quick site visit and you'll have a fixed per-visit price the same day.
Do I have to sign a contract?+
No. For residential customers there's no contract and no lock-in. You can cancel or pause visits at any time (for example over winter) and restart in spring. Commercial customers usually prefer a rolling monthly arrangement, but that's still cancellable with sensible notice.
How often should my garden be cut?+
In the Highlands, most lawns need cutting every 10–14 days from April through September. Very small or slow-growing lawns can stretch to monthly. Ornamental gardens with a lot of planting usually benefit from fortnightly visits so beds, edges and hedges stay ahead of the growth curve.
What happens to the grass clippings and hedge cuttings?+
All green waste is bagged and taken away in the van as part of the visit. You don't need a garden waste bin, and we don't leave piles behind for you to deal with.
Do you cut in the rain?+
Light rain, yes, Highland gardens would never get cut otherwise. Heavy rain or waterlogged ground, no; we reschedule for the next dry day, usually within 48 hours, so your slot doesn't slip a fortnight.
Can you look after the garden while I'm away?+
Yes. Regular customers frequently give us a gate code or key access so visits happen whether they're home or not. You come back to a tidy garden without ever having to arrange it around your travel.
Do you offer garden maintenance outside Inverness?+
Yes. We run maintenance rounds across Nairn, Dingwall, Alness, Invergordon, the Black Isle, Muir of Ord, Beauly and Aviemore. Costs are the same as Inverness for most of that footprint.
What if my garden has been left too long to start a regular round?+
We handle a one-off reset first, an initial tidy or full clearance to bring the garden back to a maintainable state, and then start the fortnightly or monthly rounds from that baseline. This is quoted separately from the regular per-visit price.
